Chanu Dasari MD is a board certified General Surgeon, with special interest in minimally invasive techniques. He specializes in procedures to treat breast, colorectal, and thyroid cancer; as well as a variety of benign conditions such as hiatal hernia and GI reflux disorder.
He graduated summa cum laude from University of Missouri, obtaining degrees in Psychology and Medicine. He also studied post-graduate Nanotechnology at Oxford University, UK. His surgical training was completed at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN, and University of California in Sacramento, CA, where he also served as Chief Housestaff Officer. He has published his surgical research in major peer reviewed journals, as well served as an invited lecturer to national conferences and academic committees.
Currently located in Henderson, and now Boulder City, Dr. Dasari’s practice philosophy is “timely, personalized care” to treat the whole person. He will meticulously, and thoughtfully review individual history and records, as well as communicate directly with referring providers. He advocates for patient education and involvement in the medical decision-making process to promote favorable outcomes.
