Excited to be able to serve locally the residents of Boulder City, Dr. Todd L. Jackson specializes in cataract and refractive eye surgery and is expertly trained in the fields of glaucoma, diabetes, neuro-ophthalmology, trauma, pterygium surgery, and advanced medical care of the eye. He completed his medical doctorate degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Jackson then fulfilled a successful medical internship in Milwaukee. He continued his training in advanced eye surgery and medical management of the eye at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center at Houston. Dr. Jackson returned home to Las Vegas in 2010 to practice ophthalmology. His in-depth training coupled with a love of people has made Dr. Jackson a sought after surgeon and recipient of such awards such as the “Super Service Award” for physicians of Las Vegas and five star ratings across the board from verified patients.
Dr. Jackson founded his own clinic, Prestige Laser & Cataract Institute (PLCI), in 2011 and opened one of the first accredited office-based cataract surgical suites in the Western United States which has driven excellence in surgical care to new heights while making needed sight restorative procedures such as cataract surgery more affordable to many individuals. Dr. Jackson believes in giving back and dedicates time and resources each month to helping the less fortunate including through his volunteer efforts at the Las Vegas H.O.P.E. Medical Clinic.
Using the founding principles of excellence, compassion, and outreach that PLCI was built on, Dr. Todd L. Jackson joined with Dr. Peter W. DeBry of NV Eye Surgery in 2015 to bring further world-class excellence in eye care to patients of Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
Dr. Jackson was born and raised with his ten brothers and sisters in Las Vegas. He graduated from Bonanza High School and deferred college to serve a two-year mission for his church in Guatemala. While serving in Guatemala, Dr. Jackson learned and became fluent in Spanish. He came to love the humble people of that great country and the Latin culture. In Dr. Jackson’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his beloved wife, Lisa, and six cherished children.
