Art In The Park

Imminent Changes at Boulder City Hospital | READ MORE

From Local Fundraiser to the Southwest’s Largest Juried Art Festival

Art in the Park began over five decades ago as a small, local fundraiser for Boulder City Hospital. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest outdoor art festivals in the Southwest. The festival is free to the public, and although Boulder City’s population is just over 16,000, the event draws more than 80,000 visitors each year. Proceeds from the event help fund essential hospital services, making it a vital part of the community.

2026 Art in the Park Featured Artist

We are proud to announce the 2026 Art in the Park Featured Artist, Southern Nevada artist Chuck Watkins Art of Henderson.

This is a true honor, and a moment we’re incredibly excited to share. Chuck’s work brings a rare kind of joy to the canvas, the kind that makes you pause, look closer, and walk away smiling.

His featured piece, Larry’s Bathhouse, captures that spirit perfectly. A desert tortoise enjoying a soak in a clawfoot tub, brought to life with charm, humor, and a personality all its own. It’s imaginative, unforgettable, and exactly the kind of piece that makes Art in the Park so special.

We can’t wait to welcome Chuck back this year and celebrate his work alongside so many talented artists who make this event what it is.

Join us this October and experience it all in person.
